9:30 to 11:30: LEGAL, HORIZONTAL, and TECHNICAL Workgroups: Presentation by Chairs and Discussion of Issues. Issues to be discussed: (1) Schema Issue (DTD, XML-Schema, RFD) (2) Namespaces (3) Horizontal Elements (4) Versioning
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Lunch (lunch will be offsite)
12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Presentations by Chairs on status of the following workgroups: (1) COURTFILING (2) TRANSCRIPTS (3) PUBLICLAW (4) CONTRACTS (5) RESEARCH (6) SIGNATURES (7) (PKI) POLICY (8) Report on new Workgroups
2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: ADMINISTRATIVE Workgroup. Issues to be discussed: (1) Forming Legal XML Non-Profit Entity (2) Legal XML Business Model (sponsors, membership, governance, staff, funding) (3) Harmonizing Government and Private Industry Interests (4) Legal XML Web Development (domain name ownership, administration, funding) (5) Proposed Amendments to Legal XML Intellectual Property Policy
4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: COMMUNICATIONS Workgroup. Issues to be discussed: Outreach, education, press releases, and other relevant issues.
